How AU scoring actually works

Match wins, set wins, play-by-play points and MVP votes all count.

Athletes earn 60 points for a match win and 20 for each set win, plus point values for every positive play — and deductions for errors.

Fans and players vote for the top three MVPs of each match, worth 60, 40 and 20 points respectively.

The athlete atop the leaderboard after the final match is crowned champion of the sport.
